Throwback Thursday: Computer Perfect Emblems

Not only does Thursday mean its almost Friday, but it’s also time for another Throwback Thursday with Stadri’s retro advertisements.

This week we’ll take a look at an embroidered patch advertisement for computer perfect emblems!
Our best guess puts this advertisement in the 1984 to 1987 range. Not as heavy with the cut and paste ‘ransom note’ style we showed last time, this ad shows off our machinery. The size of the computer pictured is a good reminder of how far technology has come. I’m sure the computers we currently use are more powerful and are fraction of the size. The programs we use are also more robust and allow for greater detail in the embroidered patches we produce.

I have a whole folder of classic advertisements from the last thirty years so be sure to check the blog for the next throwback Thursday.

My 5 year old laptop probably has more power than that old monstrosity, but who am I to compare? I started out using a Coleco Adam computer.
